Seasonal Tickets

Walt Disney World and Disneyland introduced Seasonal Tiered Pricing to their parks in 2016. Our job was to present this new concept to the ticket interface in a transparent way while keeping the purchase process as simple and as clear as possible.

As part of a team of UX and Visual designers, I was one of the Lead Interaction / UX designers on this high priority project. Based on user research, testing and many business and legal requirements, our design process proved to be extensive with iterations and design reviews spanning a few months.

Introducing the model for purchasing single and multi-day tickets under a seasonal pricing structure was a big challenge. A new interaction pattern as well as a new UI was created to present the ticketing process consistently across App, Mobile Web and PC.

The examples shown are a small sample of the final work that involved designing for single vs multi-day flows, resident vs nonresident flows as well as combinations, options and pricing involved with all of the above.
